Shalwar Kameez

Shalwar kameez is the traditional dress of Pakistani men and women. The Indian version of shalwar kameez is “indian salwar kameez”. The dress has two parts: the kameez (tunic) and shalwar (pants). Women also wear a dupatta (long scarf) around the neck with shalwar kameez. Shalwar are essentially loose trousers.Tight-bottomed shalwar is known as “churidar”. Kameez is a long shirt or tunic.
